Miike Snow just released another killer remix, this time of the stand-out VW track from back in '08 - "The Kids Don't Stand A Chance." It's crazy and fun and I love it! Only Miike Snow could pull this off.

Run Dan Run are an indie rock quartet from Charleston, South Carolina. They released their debut album "Basic Mechanics", in 2007, which included a heartfelt mixture of both mellow electronica tunes and classic, indie rock choruses. Not much has come out of South Carolina that matches the touching obscurity like Run Dan Run. Their melodies take on a sense of child-like wonder, but their talent is far from child-like.

Their new EP, "27 Coming St." was recorded in Dan McCurry's living room on a Sunday evening last October, in 1-2 takes. It shows a fully acoustic side to Run Dan Run that was only shown in glimpses on their debut album, but now allows us to fully comprehend as one whole, beautifully arranged EP. 200 hand-pressed copies are available at their shows and Hearts and Plugs, and the EP will also be available on iTunes in the near future.

Run Dan Run will also be touring the east coast for their new EP, mostly in New York and Brooklyn. They're  hitting the road eco-friendly, ditching the old band-in-a-van road trip and taking only public transport with one acoustic instrument each. Maybe you'll see them on the train, who knows? Check out the winter tour dates, and then download my personal favorite track off of the EP, "Wasted Love".

When there's an electronica group out there that you've never heard before, but when you listen to their music you seriously feel like jumping out of your chair and dancing like there's no tomorrow, than you know they're a good group.

Pelussje are two crazy italians from Milano, Italy, who have a knack for making people tap their feet, if not get out onto the dancefloor. They're originally from the dance group Sidechain Massacre, but are doing just fine making their own bizz. That's right, these guys are getting me so hyped that I'm saying nonsensical things like "bizz".

Imagine your at a rave, and you're so into the music that your heart is beating to it, your life flashes before your eyes in a blur, and for a split second, you are one with the bass. That is Pelussje.

Happy Heart Day everyone! Hope your day's going well, or at least not miserable. If you've just been sitting in front of the television all day watching soap operas and eating a whole box of Russel Stover's chocolates, than I sure hope this cheers you up.

I just remixed BENi's new track, "My Love Sees You", narrowing it down to two minutes and making it slightly more melodic, just for the occasion. Cheers!

Just picked up the cooolest remix over at Phase02 of the Franz Ferdinand track, "Ulysses", by Reflex. This is probably Franzy's most poppy track yet, but Reflex still managed to make it even more hardcore danceable. Preview the track here, then download it!

love it or leave it

God I've been waiting for this. Just thought I'd give you guys a little update - the hooded pop duo are back! Or at least sort of. They just dropped a new track remixed by Kissy Sell Out, and though the original isn't available yet, we're looking forward to more in the future, including a possible remix by Chateau Marmont. Kudos to Crapp!
